There are places that are pleasant regardless of everything; well, the bar-restaurant “Il Verricello” is one of these.
Claudia and Giancarlo, sometimes together with the precious help of their children, run this “marine” place, located directly on the beach, very nice and characteristic, and with a great quality: fresh fish.
It is located in Meta di Sorrento, in the heart of the Sorrento coast, and has a splendid view of Capri.
Strong pieces are certainly the appetizers, various and all with excellent raw materials: octopus salad, bandiera fish, squid, shrimp, mussels, anchovies stuffed with mozzarella or fried with salt and pepper and fish carpaccio, not to mention the dish perhaps prince of the area, that is “Mozzarella chhese braid and tomatoes of Sorrento”.
Various also the main courses, among which “spaghetti with clams” or “bucatini with mussels, potatoes and pecorino cheese” or “paccheri with ricciola“.
To drink: strictly white wine.
