La Cantinetta delle Terme, Firenze

In the center is this well-kept restaurant, with both sea and land cuisine: the Cantinetta delle Terme.

Two rooms, one of which downstairs (and hence the name “Cantinetta”).

Although I found the seafood menu particularly inviting, I opted for meat, and precisely for the classic Florentine steak.

Of course, excellent as well as the very tasty baked potatoes.

To drink a perfect Morellino di Scansano Battiferro Riserva 2013.

Very good also the tagliata with artichokes and grana cheese cruditè.

As dessert:

Chocolate ball with ricotta cream, almonds and figs. Well-presented and delicate taste.

and the unmissable Cantuccini with Vin Santo.
