Antico Ristoro di Cambi, Firenze

Since 1950, Cambi have welcomed their guests first as a flask place and then as a restaurant.

The Antico Ristoro di Cambi is located on the other side of the Arno, and exactly in the San Frediano district.

Simple place, with outdoor tables in a gazebo and a large internal room.

Typical Tuscan cuisine, I opted for:

Tagliatelle alla maremmana

and the classic Florentine steak

as a side dish, sautéed spinach

To drink an excellent Sangiovese Montesodi Frescobaldi, and this is not surprising since the cellar is well stocked.

Finally, they offered us a well-served coffee.

A tip for those who are around and want to relax before eating: have a drink at the recreational club La Rondinella, simple place but surrounded by greenery and overlooking the Arno with consequent views on the famous side of Florence.
